About The Project:

LOCATION:

Mission District, San Francisco

FOCUS:

Curation, writing, artist outreach, public programming

Paseo Artístico is a community arts initiative in San Francisco's Mission District that brings together local artists, organizations, and neighbors through art, culture, and storytelling.

Through my work with Artillery Ceramics Studio, I've contributed to curating and promoting exhibitions exploring cultural identity, neighborhood history, social justice, and the changes affecting our communities. My involvement includes artist outreach, calls for submissions, website writing, exhibition planning, and developing public conversations that connect artists' experiences with exhibition themes.

For me, this work is about more than showcasing art. It's about creating space for artists to share their stories, bringing neighbors together, and celebrating the communities that continue to shape the Mission District.
