A little whimsy, shaped by hand, rooted in community
Meet the Artist
Isabelle Carranza is a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice explores memory, ritual, migration, intergenerational care, and the everyday objects that hold our stories.
Working primarily through ceramics, she creates objects that honor the people, places, and traditions that shape us.
Community Practice
Art grows through connection
My community practice is rooted in the belief that art can create spaces for storytelling, belonging, healing, and joy. Through ceramics, teaching, workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative projects, I work alongside communities to create spaces that feel welcoming, accessible, and meaningful.
